Engaging communication begins with compelling content. The Heed Content Designer empowers you to create visually appealing and informative notifications that resonate with your audience, whether you're sharing vital updates or inviting users to events.

Navigating the designer

The Heed Content Designer offers two distinct modes:

View Mode

In View Mode, you can preview how your notification will appear to recipients. This allows you to assess the visual impact and ensure your message is conveyed effectively.

1. Design mode: Open the design mode to start creating your content
2. Preview: Open the preview mode so you can view your notification on the desktop
3. Action Buttons: Publish or recall your content with the action buttons
4. Notification Settings: View the additional settings of the notification, including the title and additional delivery methods such as Mobile Push

Navigator

You can navigate through the different views of your content using the navigator:

1. Desktop: The desktop notification design
2. Employee App: The design of the notification that will display within the employee app
3. Content: Additional content such as a survey; not available on all types.
   
   

Design Mode

Design Mode is where you create and customize your notification content. Utilize the drag-and-drop interface, rich media options, text customization, and clickable links to craft your notification to perfection.

1. Content Components: Drag and drop new components onto your notification, such as buttons and images.
2. Content Editor: Edit your notification, you can drag on new content and resize your notification.
3. Content Settings: Update additional settings of your notification, such as the title, recipients and the additional delivery methods.

Editing Content

To edit content in the Content Editor, click on the component you wish to modify. For instance, if you're editing the heading of the notification.

You can then begin typing to make changes to the content. However, you will also have access to the content tool menu, which allows you to:

• Remove the component
• Adjust its position
• Switch to multiple columns

Furthermore, when editing content, additional design options will appear on the right-hand side. Here, you can make additional adjustments, such as alignment, text color, and padding.

Body & Branding

The Body tab within Design Mode offers even more customization options. Here, you can update your notification's design with background images, padding adjustments, and precise branding positioning. 

This additional layer of control allows you to create visually stunning notifications that align perfectly with your brand identity and messaging goals.
