You have the ability to assign one or more users to a channel within Heed. Once these users are assigned to the channel, they will become recipients of any notifications or messages published to that particular channel. This means that when important updates, messages, or notifications are sent out via the channel, all the assigned users will receive them, ensuring that important information is efficiently and effectively communicated to the intended audience.
Adding new members
To add a new member to a channel, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Channels page in Heed Admin Portal.
- Find the channel that you wish to edit and then click on the edit pencil icon next to the channel.
- From the channel details overlay click on the Members Tab.
- Then, click on the Update Members button.
- In the Add Member modal, check the users that you would like to add, existing members will already be ticked so you can uncheck those to remove them.
- Once you have made your selection, click Update.
