Creating Desktop Wallpapers

Overview

The Heed Desktop Wallpaper feature offers a way to tailor your screen with vital information for your workforce. This functionality is often utilized for safety reminders, internal marketing and presenting company values.

Where are a few points to consider when publishing your wallpaper:

• The wallpaper should not already be controller by group policy
• The Heed desktop client 9.3.x.x or greater needs to be installed

Creating a desktop wallpaper

1. Open the Heed Admin Portal and click Create.
2. Click Create your own, then press Wallpaper.
3. Enter a title and a description for your Wallpaper and then press Create.
   

The Designer

From the designer you can choose your wallpaper image; by clicking on Upload Image in the center of the designer screen.

Once your image has been selected, you can choose the recipients of the wallpaper by clicking Modify on the Recipients section.

Once you have chosen your image and specified the recipients; click publish and the desktop will be changed on the users desktop when they next login.

• GIF 
• JPEG
• PNG   

To ensure the best resolution compatibility across various screen sizes, the uploaded image should maintain a consistent height-width ratio and should be designed to fit the largest screen size on which the Wallpaper will be showcased, typically 1280x1024 or higher.

Additional Options

You can set specific wallpaper images for different languages and screen resolutions.
